The renovated room was quite comfortable to stay in.
Upon check-in, I noticed a persistent dripping sound from the sink tap, which was quite annoying. the low mechanical banging noise throughout the night kept me awake. Unfortunately, the hotel staff seemed uninterested in addressing these issues, which was incredibly frustrating.

I stayed in a Premium King Plus Single room for 4 nights, and I loved the spaciousness! The room included a large desk with a lamp and USB ports, which was perfect for catching up on work. The air conditioning was efficient, keeping the room cool, and I appreciated the cleanliness throughout my stay. The balcony was a nice spot to sip my morning coffee and enjoy the view after a day of exploring Cairns.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable due to an ill-fitting mattress protector.

I loved how close everything was! ☀️ Just a stroll to Rusty's Markets and local cafes. My room was cozy, but the plumbing noises at night were a real bummer.

The location was ideal for exploring nearby markets and attractions, making it easy to enjoy the local culture. Being close to a swimming pool was a bonus, yet the pool's non-functionality was disappointing. While the room was spacious and reasonably clean, requests for additional pillows went unanswered. Despite these issues, the room's size and the friendliness of the staff made the experience somewhat pleasant.

great location with friendly staff , but noise levels can be improved
The rooms were super clean and maintained to a high standard. The location couldn't be better, as everything was within walking distance. the staff were exceptionally helpful and professional during our stay, which made a big difference. I loved that there was a supermarket right across the street. it was incredibly convenient for quick snacks and necessities.
The thin walls meant I could hear noise from neighboring rooms, which affected my sleep quality.

The spacious rooms work well, and the air conditioning is efficient, keeping the humidity at bay. Plus, the nearby food options are handy, giving you plenty to choose from for a bite after your adventures.
The overall condition of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom door didn’t lock, the decor was noticeably worn, and some amenities like the shower taps felt stiff and outdated. The windows might as well be made of paper. they barely block the noise from party-goers on the main road. There were complaints about cleanliness, with some guests finding dirty cups and stains on bedding. Parking is supposedly reserved, but finding a spot can turn into a wild chase, as it may be full when you arrive. Just be mindful of the thin walls. you'll hear your neighbors more than you'd like, and there's a chance you'll get some unwanted 'musical' moments through them.
